That’s Hugo Matuschek in front of his department store in Budapest, Hungary. The movie we’re looking for was remade a few years ago with a different title and actors I only know by name (now that’s a hint…ha, ha, ha). I’ve never seen the newer version. Why should I when the original is so brilliant? And besides most of the new films aren’t filmed in black and white.

You may telephone from here or you may not telephone considering the fact that the operator has fallen into a deep sleep just like the rest of her little English town.
If the eyes are the mirror of the soul then some of the people shown in this movie may have no soul or a very, very dark and enigmatic soul. And remember you must just think of what you could see in the background of the logo of the defunct Strictly Rhythm record label.
